Project Description

​The overall project consisted of over 15,000 LF of 8” coated carbon steel pipeline. Approximately 9,000 LF was considered within the operational airfield limits. The design indicated 1,715 LF of pipeline through microtunneled casing, 730 LF of pipeline was installed aboveground on concrete pier supports, and 12,205 LF of pipeline direct bury by open trench excavations. In addition, the project included a pig launching and receiving station with manual air vent, pressure gauge, valved input/relief line, drain line with valve and sight flow indicator; miscellaneous concrete sidewalks, curbs and gutters and asphalt paving; above and underground electrical distribution; cathodic protection; earthwork, open trenching and excavation.
