Fabrication

Whether the project is large or small, Reliable typically fabricates the majority of the piping associated with our fueling systems in our 8,000 square foot Louisville shop. Reliable can handle and fabricate carbon steel pipe through 24-inch and stainless steel pipe through 18-inch. Once fabricated, we use certified independent testing agencies to perform NDE, including radiography, ultra-sonic thickness testing, liquid penetrant, and magnetic particle testing of each weld depending on our customers specifications. All of Reliable’s welders are certified to Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) Stick Welding; Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) MIG Welding; and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) TIG Welding.

In addition to pipe fabrication, Reliable can fabricate carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum platforms, railings and pipe supports. Once fabricated, we will either have the components hot dipped galvanized or exterior coated depending on our customers specifications.

Reliable’s Fabrication Quality Compliance meets ASME BPVC SEC IX;  ASME B31.3; ASME B31.1; API RP 582; AWS; Certified Welding Inspection (CWI) and 3rd party Radiography (as required).

Reliable’s shop fabrication is installed in the field by our own piping crews which eliminates many potential mistakes and saves valuable time and money which we can then pass on those lower costs to our customers.
