Our team is committed to thorough project planning, always keeping in mind that a well-prepared and executed plan ensures a successful project. Each project begins with a pre-construction “blitz session” focusing on the big picture as well as critical activities necessary to efficiently begin and conduct a project. Continual adjustments are made throughout the project. All subcontractors of magnitude are required to have input into the schedule and are contractually tied to the schedule. The project manager generates look-ahead schedules for use in the field. These schedules are updated periodically and reviewed in weekly site meetings to ensure that all parties are prepared for upcoming work.
Planning for the closeout is just as important as, if not more so, than pre-construction planning. Preparations for closeout will begin at the very start of each project. Closeout actions may include: punch-out inspections, pre-final inspections, final inspections, deficiency correction and verification, final system testing and commissioning, O&M manuals, instruction and training procedures, completed as-built drawings, and key/material/spare-part turn-over and warranty information.
